Add an extra layer of protection to any of your Lucky Sheep products. Simply rub the bar onto the fabric surface, then heat set with a blow dryer or iron. This can be used on the Lucky Sheep canvas parkas, backpacks, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, or even on your own clothing items. This wax is made from 100% natural and non-toxic ingredients: beeswax, pine resin, linseed oil, and gemstone powders. Price includes one bar only, weighing 6 ounces.

  1. Each jacket and 65 liter packpack comes with a bar of pure beeswax (extra bars available).
     
  2. Products arrive with a base layer of wax, giving it some water resistance, but not complete waterproofing.
     
  3. Rub the beeswax bar evenly across the surface of your product.
     
  4. Use a blow dryer for a few minutes to melt the wax into the fibers.
     
  5. Test your jacket/backpack in the rain—if water soaks in more than you like, reapply another coat.
  6. When the wax is correct, the inside will feel damp but not allow rain to come in past that stage.
