Lightweight protection from wet ground—designed for the Lucky Sheep® natural sleep system.
A good ground sheet has one simple job: keep ground moisture from soaking into your sleeping system without adding unnecessary weight, bulk, or complexity.
The Lucky Sheep® Silnylon Ground Sheet creates a lightweight waterproof barrier between you and wet earth while allowing the rest of your sleep system to do what it does best.
At 58″ × 76″, it provides room for one spacious sleep setup or two people sleeping side by side. When it is time to move, the entire ground sheet packs into a remarkably small 4″ × 4″ stuff sack.
Corner loops and four included stakes make it easy to secure on uneven ground or in windy conditions.

Instead of trying to completely isolate yourself from the outdoor environment inside a sealed shelter, the Lucky Sheep® system is designed around protection where you need it, ventilation where you want it, and wool surrounding your body where moisture and temperature regulation matter most.

An open-ended tarp provides protection from rain while maintaining generous airflow. Moist air can move freely through camp rather than becoming trapped inside an enclosed shelter.
Below you — the Silnylon Ground Sheet
The ground sheet provides the waterproof boundary where it matters most: between your sleeping system and damp soil.
Under your body — a Wool Felt Sleeping Pad
Wool felt provides insulation from the ground while maintaining the natural-fiber character of the sleep system.
Around you — the Rewilder Wool Sleeping Bag
Wool insulation can absorb and release moisture vapor while continuing to insulate, helping create a comfortable sleeping microclimate through changing temperatures and humidity.
Together, these pieces create a remarkably simple shelter system:

Rather than trying to push damp weather completely outside, the system is designed to work intelligently within it.
Minimal Synthetic Material Where It Counts
Lucky Sheep® is built around natural fibers, but we are not opposed to modern materials when they solve a specific problem exceptionally well.
Silnylon is used here because a very small amount of lightweight material can provide an effective barrier against ground moisture. This allows the heavier and more substantial parts of your sleeping system—the insulation, bedding, and materials closest to your body—to remain predominantly natural.
It is a deliberate hybrid approach: use natural fibers wherever their performance makes sense, and lightweight technical materials selectively where they provide a clear advantage.
